WISELINK
Using the WISELINK Function
This function enables you to view and listen to photo (BASELINE, JPEG) and audio files (MP3) saved on a USB
Mass Storage Class device.
➢ WISELINK only supports USB Mass Storage Class devices (MSC). MSC is a Mass
Storage Class Bulk-Only Transport device. Examples of MSC are Thumb drives
and Flash Card Readers. It does not support USB HDD and HUB.
➢ This product supports USB devices that have only 512byte data block size.
➢ Do not apply excessive force when you insert/eject the memory card or USB
device.
➢ Do not place the memory card or USB device near a strong electro-magnetic
device.
➢ Do not allow metal substances to come in contact with the terminals on the
memory card.
➢ Do not bend, drop or apply strong shock to memory cards or USB devices.
➢ Only alphanumeric characters must be used as a folder name or file name (photo,
music). A file name with non-alphanumeric characters is displayed as “???”.
➢ If a filename is too long, the filename is represented as follows: “filename...+.jpg”
or “filename...+.mp3”.
➢ The file system supports FAT16/32, not NTFS.
➢ Certain types of USB Digital camera and audio devices may not be compatible
with this TV.
➢ Before inserting your memory card or USB device into the Wireless Home AV
Center, please back up your files. SAMSUNG is not responsible for any data file
damage or data loss.
➢ The data files in memory cards might be erased due to electrostatic discharge
(EST), loose contact, or dust.
➢ Some memory devices may not be recognized when the Wireless Home AV Center
is turned on and switched to WISELINK Mode. If this occurs, remove and reinstall
the memory device in question.
➢ Directly connect the USB device to the USB jack on your Wireless Home AV
Center. Compatibility problems may occur when using a USB hub.
➢ We recommended using the sequential JPEG format. If the progressive JPEG
mode is used, decoding may fail due to use of too much memory.
➢ When the loading ( ) icon is displayed, do not remove the USB device.
➢ PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol) or MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) is not supported
on this Wireless Home AV Center.
➢ USB devices that require their own driver CDs may not be recognized. (When a
USB device is connected to your PC, Windows searches for an eligible driver for
the device. However, if the USB device is not a bulk-only device it cannot be used
with the PC.)
➢ Recommended image resolution for Wiselink is 6 mega pixels.
➢ If the horizontal resolution of an image is higher than 5000, it cannot be decoded.
➢ If the vertical resolution of an image is higher than 4000, it cannot be decoded.

MP3 files into the WISELINK jack (USB
jack) on the front panel of Wireless Home AV
Center.
