3 Frame a photograph
3.1 Hold the camera as shown.
Holding the Camera
Hold the handgrip in your right hand and
cradle the cam era body or lens with your
left. Keep your elbows propped lightly
against your torso for support.
3.2 Frame a photo in the viewfi nder with the
main subject positioned in any of the fi ve
focus areas.

Using a Zoom Lens
Use the zoom ring to zoom in on the
subject so that it fi lls a larger area of the
frame, or zoom out to increase the area
visible in the fi nal photograph.
