h Copy (Copy Between Internal Memory and Memory Card)
Copy pictures between the internal memory and a memory card.

Use the multi selector to select an option
from the copy screen and press the
k button.
q: Copy pictures from internal memory to memory
card.
r: Copy pictures from memory card to internal
memory.

Select a copy option and press the
k button.
Selected images: Copy pictures selected from the picture
selection screen (
A 93).
All images: Copy all pictures.

Notes on Copying Pictures
• JPEG-, AVI-, and WAV-format files can be copied. Files recorded in any other format cannot be
copied.
• If voice memos ( A 95) are attached to pictures selected for copying, voice memos are copied
with the pictures.
• Operation is not guaranteed with pictures taken with another make of camera or that have been
modified on a computer.
• When copying pictures selected for a Print set ( A 87), the print set marking is not copied.
However, Protect ( A 94) settings are copied with pictures.
• Pictures or movies copied from the internal memory or a memory card cannot be displayed in
auto sort mode ( A 80).
• When pictures added to albums ( A 74) are copied, the copies are not automatically added to the
same albums as the original pictures.

“Memory contains no images.” Message
If there are no pictures stored on the memory card when playback mode is applied, the message
Memory contains no images. will be displayed. Press the d button to display the copy option
screen, and copy the pictures stored in the camera’s internal memory to the memory card.
