Method 4: Setting up a network connection by adding a new access point (manual setup method)

You can input the network name (SSID) you want manually if it does not appear on the list.

1. Select [Settings] - [Network Settings] from the home menu.

2. Select [Internet Settings].

3. Select [Wireless] (*).

You cannot select [Wireless] if a LAN cable is connected to the receiver.

4. Select [Manual Registration].

5. Select [Direct Input].

6. Enter the network name (SSID) you want using the on-screen keyboard. Press / / / and to select the

characters one by one, then select [Enter].
The name you entered is registered.

7. Select the security setting you want.

8. Enter the security key (WEP key, WPA/WPA2 key) using the on-screen keyboard. Press / / / and to

select the characters one by one, then select [Enter] to confirm the security key.
The screen for selecting the IP address acquisition method is displayed on the TV screen.

9. Select [Auto].

10. Select [OK].

The receiver starts connecting to the network. For details, refer to the messages that appear on the TV screen.
After the network settings are complete, [ ] lights up on the display panel.

If using a fixed IP address

Select [Manual] in step 9. The IP address input display appears on the TV screen.
Enter the value for [IP Address] using the on-screen keyboard. Press / / / and to select the characters one
by one, then select [Enter] to confirm the value.
Enter the values for [Subnet Mask], [Default Gateway], [Primary DNS] and [Secondary DNS], then select [Next].
