Press the /// button to select “NC Modes,” and then press the
 button to confirm.
You can listen to audio with reduced ambient noise.

Hints
 While using “External Input Mode” or “Quiet Mode,” you can switch to another mode by
pressing the  button.
 If you disconnect the audio input cable, the Noise Canceling function enters “Quiet
Mode” automatically.
 You can use the Noise Canceling function for certain flight services by using the
supplied plug adapter ( page 8).
Notes
 While using “External Input Mode” or “Quiet Mode,” the screensaver does not activate.
Instead, the screen dims after a certain period has passed.
 When you connect the player to an external audio device, be sure to connect to the
headphone jack of the device.
