You cannot copy 511 or more folders
(except VOICE folders) or files to the root
directory that is located immediately below
“IC RECORDER” on the computer. This is due
to Windows system limitations (ICD-UX71/
UX81/UX71F/UX81F only).
If no title, or artist name has been entered
into the ID3 tag information, “Unknown” will
be displayed.



Transferring Files
from the IC Recorder
to Your Computer
You can save files or folders by
transferring them from the IC recorder to
your computer.

Connect the IC recorder to your
computer (page 69).
On the Windows screen; open “My
Computer” and make sure that “IC
RECORDER” has been recognized. On
the Macintosh screen; make sure that
an “IC RECORDER” drive is displayed on
the desk top.

Copy files or folders you want to
transfer to your computer.
Drag and drop the folders contains
files you want from “IC RECORDER” to
the local disc on your computer.
