Connecting an External Microphone
You can use an external microphone to enhance the quality of the sound input.
See the manual that came with your microphone for more information on its
installation and use.
To connect an external microphone
1 Locate the red Microphone jack on the right side of your notebook.
2 Plug the microphone cable into the Microphone jack.

Verify that your microphone is designed for computer use. The microphone should be
compliant with the plug-in power microphone.
