Adjusting the settings of your Network Walkman
To cancel operating the menu screen
Press and hold the /MENU button until the
screen changes.
To display the current time
Press the DISP/FM button (NW-E303/E305/E307),
or the DISP button (NW-E205/E207) repeatedly
until the “Clock” appears (page 27).
Note, however, when the “Clock” is set to “OFF”
in the “Display Screen” menu (page 28), you
cannot display the current time by the procedure
above.
z Tip
You can select the date format from among
“yy/mm/dd”, “dd/mm/yy” and “mm/dd/yy”.
Furthermore, you can select either 12 hours display
or 24 hours display. See “Setting the date format
(Date Disp Type)” (page 41), or “Setting the time
format (Time Disp Type)” (page 42).
Notes
• You cannot change display mode while using the
FM tuner (NW-E303/E305/E307 only).
• If the unit is not used for a long time, your
settings for date and time may need to be reset.
• If the current time is not set, the display for the
date and time will show “--”.
Limiting the
volume (AVLS)
You can set AVLS (Automatic Volume
Limiter System) to limit the maximum
volume to prevent auditory disturbance or
distraction. With AVLS, you can listen to
music at a comfortable volume level.
