Starting to Record

You can record a new file by pressing the

z

REC/PAUSE button. Recorded files

are not erased. The recording level is set
automatically. You can also review the
latest recording file by just pressing the

N

PLAY/ENTER button without the

rewind operation.

P Notes

• Before making a recording, be sure to

check the battery indicator (page 12).

• Noise may be recorded if an object, such

as your finger, etc., accidentally rubs or
scratches the memory card recorder
during recording.

• Do not remove the memory card while

recording.

• The “Start Recording” message appears

when you insert a blank memory card.

Tips

• Before you start recording, we

recommend you make a trial recording
first, or monitor the recording.

• Try to record closer to the sound source if

the playback volume is low.

Slide the HOLD•POWER switch
towards the center to release the
memory card recorder from the
HOLD status (page 10).

The stop mode window appears.
