 By customizing the Program Guide, you can choose to use either the
DIRECTV Grid or TiVo Guide. You can also change the day and time displayed, select
a channel list, and set it to filter program information by category. To customize the
Program Guide, press LIVE TV/GUIDE to make it visible, then press DISPLAY to see

 . Highlight an option and then change it with the LEFT and RIGHT
arrows. Save your changes by pressing DISPLAY again or LIVE TV. To discard your
changes, press CLEAR.

! Select a channel list (“All,” “Channels You Receive,” or “Favorite
Channels”) to use in the Program Guide. The default, “All,” displays all of
DIRECTV’s channels. Only channels that are on the list selected here will appear
in the Program Guide, or when you use the CHAN UP/DOWN buttons.
You can customize the “Channels You Receive” list to only include channels you
receive, then select it here. The Program Guide and CHAN UP/DOWN buttons
will only show channels you receive. For details on setting up a custom channel list
and using it in the Program Guide, see Tour Two on page 16, and “Customize
Channels” on page 68.

$ Turn Program Guide filtering on or off.

! Choose a category with which to filter the Program Guide. When
filtering is on, programs that do not fit the selected category appear grayed on the
DIRECTV Grid until you highlight them. In addition, if a channel has no programs
in the selected category within six hours of the time on the Program Guide, the
DIRECTV Grid will not show that channel.
