Turning the Beam Receive feature on or off
You can turn on or off the Beam Receive feature.
When you turn off the Beam Receive feature, you cannot receive data via
beaming. By default, the Beam Receive feature is set to [On] to conserve your
CLIÉ handheld battery.

Tap V at the top right of the Preferences screen, and select
[General].
The Preferences screen for [General] is displayed.

Tap V next to [Beam Receive:], and select [On] or [Off].
• On : Enables the Beam Receive feature.
• Off : Disables the Beam Receive feature.
