Warning indicators and messages

If the following messages appear, follow
the instructions.

E

The battery level is low. Charge the
battery immediately. The indicator may
flash even if there are still 5 to 10
minutes of remaining battery time left.

No Memory Stick

Insert “Memory Stick PRO Duo” media
(page 18).

System error

Turn the power off and then on again.

Internal memory error

Turn the power off and then on again.

Reinsert the Memory Stick

Insert the “Memory Stick PRO Duo”
media correctly (page 18).

The inserted “Memory Stick PRO Duo”
media cannot be used in your camera
(page 69).

The “Memory Stick PRO Duo” media is
damaged.

The terminal section of the “Memory

No images have been recorded in this
folder.

You did not operate correctly when
copying images from your computer.

Folder error

A folder with the same first three digit
number already exists on the “Memory
Stick PRO Duo” media (for example:
123MSDCF and 123ABCDE). Select
other folders, or create a new folder
(pages 50, 51).

Cannot create more folders

The folder with a name beginning with
“999” exists on the “Memory Stick PRO
Duo” media. You cannot create any
folders if this is the case.

Cannot record

The camera cannot record images in the
selected folder. Select a different folder
(page 50).

File error

An error occurred while the image was
playing back.
