使いかた
1. 本機を充電する。
本機をクリエに付属の、または別売りのクレードルに取り付けます。
（イラストA）
本機前後面の角穴とクレードルの
3 つのツメをあわせてしっかり取り付
けてください。
CHARGE ランプが点灯します。ランプが消えたら充電完了です。
残量ゼロから充電完了まで約 5 時間です。
2. 本機をクリエに取り付ける。
クリエ底面の 4 か所の角穴と本機のツメをあわせ、クリエを左側から右
側に少しずらすようにして取り付けます。（イラストB）
「カチッ」と音がします。
ご注意
• 本機をクリエに取り付けた状態でも、クレードルに接続すれば充電す
ることができます。
• 本機の残量がゼロになると、クリエの内蔵電池が使用されます。
3. 本機をクリエから取りはずす。
RELEASE スイッチを手前にスライドさせながら、クリエを右側から左
側へ少しずらすようにして取りはずします。（イラストC）
本機の残量を確かめるには
本機をクリエに取り付けて、「バッテリ情報」画面で確認します。「拡
張」欄に表示されている数値が本機の残量です。ただし、本機の残量がゼ
ロのときやクレードルで充電している最中は、残量表示はされません。
また、 Palm OS 標準ホーム画面の をタップしても本機残量は表示
されません。画面表示については、クリエ本体に付属の取扱説明書をご覧
ください。
使用上のご注意
• 持ち運ぶときは、付属のポーチに入れてください。
• クリエの内蔵バッテリーの残量が極めて少ないときは、本機を取り付けて
も、クリエの一部の機能がすぐに使えない場合があります。そのまましば
らくお待ちいただくか、クレードルで充電してください。
• 本機を長時間お使いにならない場合は、クリエから取りはずしてください。
• 高温になった車の中や炎天下など、 60 ℃以上になるところに放置しな
いでください。
• 水にぬらさないでください。
• 使用しないときは湿度の低い涼しい場所に保管してください。
充電式電池の収集・リサイクルについて
リチウムイオン電池は、リサイクルできます。不要になったリチウムイオン
電池は、金属部にセロハンテープなどの絶縁テープを貼って充電式電池
リサイクル協力店へお持ちください。

How to use
1. Charging the extended battery.
Place the extended battery onto the supplied cradle
or a seperately sold cradle so that the clasp hooks of
the cradle are inserted into the slots on the bottom of
the extended battery, as shown in illustration A.
The CHARGE LED lights up and remains lit until
charging is complete.
When the extended battery is completely
discharged, it takes about 5 hours to recharge
completely.
2. Attaching the extended battery to your CLIÉ handheld.
Place your CLIÉ handheld so that the bottom four
clasp slots align with the clasp hooks of the
extended battery, as shown in illustration B. Gently
press down and slide slightly to the right to click
into place.
Notes
• You can recharge the extended battery with or
without your CLIÉ handheld attached.
• If the extended battery becomes completely
discharged, power is supplied by the built-in
battery to your CLIÉ handheld.

3. Detaching the extended battery from your CLIÉ
handheld.
Slide and hold the RELEASE switch forward (as
indicated by the arrow in illustration C), then slide
your CLIÉ handheld slightly leftward to release the
extended battery.
To check remaining battery power
You can check the remaining power of your extended
battery by attaching it to your CLIÉ handheld and
opening the Battery Information dialog box.
However, the remaining power of the extended battery
will not be displayed if the extended battery is fully
discharged, or if the CLIÉ handheld is being charged
on the cradle. For details, refer to your CLIÉ handheld
manual instructions.
tip
If you tap
on the Palm OS standard screen, the
display indicates the remaining power of the internal
battery in your CLIÉ handheld.
Notes on Use
• Always carry the extended battery in its pouch
(supplied).
• If the built-in battery is fully discharged, even with
the extended battery attached, use of some functions
may not be possible immediately on your CLIÉ
handheld.
In this case, either wait a while, or charge your CLIÉ
handheld on the cradle.
• If your CLIÉ is not to be used for a long period of
time, detach the extended battery.
• Do not expose the extended battery to temperatures
above 140 °F (60 °C), such as under direct sunlight
or in a car parked in hot weather.
• Keep the battery pack dry.
• Store the battery pack in a cool, dry place when not
in use.
