The Display The Control Panel's display performs two functions.
• It informs you of printer status conditions, such as
when toner is low, when a paper tray is empty, when a
job is in process, and so on. For example, when you
turn on the printer, the display will show after
warming up:
This message appears whenever the printer is online
and ready to accept print jobs. The display will also
show:
when processing data, and:
when waiting for more data.
• It presents a hierarchy of menu options and settings to
configure and control the printer.
For example, when you press Menu Up or Menu
Down , you will see the following two-line message
on the display:
(such as System Menu or Job Menu )
