Applying effects to a clip

You can apply a special effect (Effect) by digital
processing to a video clip or still image clip arranged on
the edit track.
The MotionSD STUDIO refers to this as “Video Effect”.

Types of video effects

[Fade-in]

The video and/or audio appears
gradually.
• You can change the duration

for which the video fully
appears and the colour of the
screen before the video starts to appear.

[Fade-out]

The video and/or audio
disappears gradually.
• You can change the duration

for which the video fully
disappears and the colour of
the screen after the video disappears.

[Mosaic

]

Mosaic is applied to the video.
• You can change the mosaic

block size.

[Strobe

]

The video is presented like a
single frame step display.
• You can change the interval of

strobe actions.

[Art

]

The video is presented like
paintings.

[Negative-Positive]

The video is presented like a
negative film.
