ATTO Technology ExpressPCI FC 3300 and FC 3305 Installation and Operation Manual

1 ATTO ExpressPCI provides Fibre Channel solutions

All ATTO ExpressPCI FC models have been designed to ensure interoperability with Fibre Channel
devices and compatibility with a broad range of servers and workstations to meet your needs.

The ATTO ExpressPCI FC 3300 and ExpressPCI
FC 3305 host adapters offer high performance for
your applications. Each conforms to a strict
interpretation of Fibre Channel specifications to
ensure the adapter will work with a variety of
other SAN (Storage Area Network) components.

ExpressPCI FC 3300
The ExpressPCI FC 3300 is a 2-Gigabit Fibre
Channel to PCI-X bus host adapter with one fixed
short wave optical LC connector.

It supports all Fibre Channel topologies, including
point-to-point, arbitrated loop and fabric.

This adapter is capable of automatically sensing
and switching between 1-Gigabit and 2-Gigabit
speeds, allowing you to install the product in
legacy SANs.

Express PCI FC 3305
The ExpressPCI FC 3305 is comparable to the
ExpressPCI FC 3300 host adapter with the
exception of the interconnect style.

It is a 2-Gigabit Fibre Channel to PCI-X bus host
adapter with a fixed, shrouded copper HSSDC
interface capable of supporting all Fibre Channel
topologies, including point-to-point, arbitrated
loop and fabric.

This adapter is capable of sensing and switching
between 1-Gigabit and 2-Gigabit speeds,
allowing you to install the product in legacy
SANs.
