HVAC Emergency Disconnect Switch
Model HVAC
The Emergency Disconnect Switch provides
a means to manually disable the HVAC
system. The unit is constructed of UL Listed
parts with a switch rating of 6 Amps @ 125
VAC.
Durable inks are used in the printing to insure
long life, non-fading, and scratch-resistant
wording. The word “Emergency” is printed in
brilliant red and the words “Air Handler Shut-
off” are in black (shown above).
The 2-position maintained aircraft style toggle
switch is mounted on a single gang plate. The
plate is available in white or stainless steel.
Do Not Use Elevator Warning Plate
Model EL-1
The “Do Not Use Elevator” plate provides an
effective warning to firefighters NOT to use
the elevators even with the bypass key, as a
fire has been detected in the elevator
mechanical room.
The warning label is silkscreened in Red ink
on a single gang stainless steel plate. When
activated, a bright red flashing LED draws the
firefighters attention to the message.
The indicator is designed for operation at
24VDC using a current draw of 20ma.. The
unit has a blocking diode for use on he super-
vised circuits.
