Scheduler Mode
This setting determines the type of packages on which
System Update takes action:
• If Monthly, System Update will search updates on the
day of Day Of The Month.
• If Weekly, System Update will search on the day of
Day Of The Week.
Day Of The Month
This setting specifies the day of the month when System
Update will search for new updates. The default value
is 1.
Day Of The Week
This setting specifies the day of the week when System
Update will search for new updates. The default value
is Monday.
Hour
This setting specifies the time when System update will
search for new updates.
Valid value: Any number from 0 to 23 (0 indicates 12AM
and 23 indicates 11PM)
The default value is 0
TaskParameters
The parameters to pass to the command that is run for
the scheduled System Update task. The default value is
/CM -search R -action LIST -scheduler

Appendix A “Command line parameters” on page 71.
UNC
This setting specifies the UNC location for the mapped
network drive (format: \\server\share). The default value
is none.
User
This setting enables you to use the mapdrv.exe /view
command to create an encrypted value for this field. The
default value is none.
Mapped Network Drive
Password
This setting enables you to use the mapdrv.exe /view
command to create an encrypted value for this field. The
default value is none.

This table provides the settings for the General policy of System Update.

This setting enables you to disable or enable System Update to
check the Live Feed to get the billboard setting. You can remove the
billboard function from System Update by clearing this value.

This setting is used to determine if System Update should ignore
requests to run System Update.
• If NO, System Update will run normally.
• If YES, System Update will not run.
