Adjusting the Tone Curve
This section explains how to adjust the tone curve of the job.

Click the [Image Controller Hold] tab in Job Centro screen.
The [Image Controller Hold] screen appears.

Select the job for which the tone curve needs to be adjusted from the list.
The selected job is displayed against a dark background.
% When multiple jobs are selected, tone curves cannot be adjusted.
% When the object job is not found in the list, display the object job in the list by conducting a search
or clearing the search parameters.

Click [Tone Curve Adjustment].
The [Tone Curve Adjustment] screen appears.
% Tone curve cannot be adjusted in a job with custom screen settings. In such a case, use Color Cen-
tro to adjust the tone curve and apply it to the job.

Adjust the tone curve as necessary.

Click [Apply] and apply the adjusted tone curve to the job.
% When the adjusted tone curve is applied to the job, the [Use Job Tone Curve] checkbox under the
[Color Management] tab in the [Print Setting] screen will be checked.

Select [Close] from the [File] menu and close the Tone Curve Adjustment screen.

Displays the image reduced.

Displays only the image after adjustment.
[Display before
and after the ad-
justment]
Displays both of the images before and after adjustment.
