The PANTONE 193 C spot color, with its new values, is added to the custom
dictionary.
8. Click Close .
Step 4: Reprinting the Job With the Edited Spot Color
Now you will reprint the job with the edited spot color.
1. In the Storage area, right-click the job IQ_Test_Train_Tab .
2. In the right-click menu, select Back to original .
3. Drag the job to the Process Queue .
The job is reprocessed and sent to the printer.
Go to the printer and collect the printout. Examine the PANTONE 193 C color box
at the lower-left side of the page, and compare it to the job that you printed
previously. The spot color should look redder. You can also check the new CMYK
values in the Preview window.
Step 5: Checking New Spot Color Values in the Preview
Window
This step is optional. Do it if you want to verify that the spot color was printed with
the new CMYK values.
To preview a job:
1. In the Storage area, right-click the job IQ_Test_Train_Tab .
2. In the right-click menu, select Job Preview .
3. Click the Zoom In button, and magnify the spot color area.
4. Select the Eye Dropper button, and click inside the color box.
