Color Calibration/Linearization

Performing a linearization:

Select the type of Spectrophotometer

Print linearization target by pressing the 'Print Target'-button

Measure linearization target by pressing the 'Measure'-button

After the target has been read and processed properly, the dialog shows the date of the day when the

linearization was performed.

Gray Calibration

The Gray Calibration is used to enhance the gray balance, which means that gray colors (R=G=B) should be

perceptually neutral (uncolored).

To check the gray balance a test sheet can be printed: Press 'Print Test Sheet'-button.

If the gray balance is not acceptable like in the extreme example above, a gray calibration should be

performed.
