Performing a gray calibration:

Check the 'Modify Default Gray Value'-checkbox

Press 'Print Target'-Button and the following target is printed:

Cut off the mask on the left side as instructed on the target.

Cut out the small square in the middle of the mask.

Use the mask to determine visually the most gray color patch in each of the 6 fields marked with Step#1

to Step #6.

Type the coordinates of the chosen gray patch (e. g. Step1 D3 Step2 E4) into the appropriate field of

the dialog.

After finding suitable patches for all steps the Test Sheet can be printed again to check the changes.

Sometimes it is necessary to readjust some fields until the gray gradient appears to be visually neutral.
