Connecting your iPhone or
Android device to the unit
For iPhone users
! Use the cable supplied with the iPhone.
Do not leave the cable in the vehicle. The
cable supplied with the iPhone is not de-
signed for use in a vehicle.
For Android device users
! Use a USB-microUSB data communication
cable of 1 m or less. A charge cable cannot
be used.
1 Connect the USB cable to your iPhone or
Android device.
2 Connect the other end of USB cable
firmly to the connection box of the power
cable.

Installing the navigation
application
Install the navigation application to your iPhone
or Android device before utilising this unit.
You can download the navigation application
from iTunes App Store or Google Play.

Starting the navigation
application
When you use the navigation application for the
first time, start the application yourself. The ap-
plication will start automatically from the next
time the iPhone or Android device is connected
to the unit.
CAUTION
! For utilising the navigation application, you
need to purchase the NavGate HUD Support
first. Purchase the NavGate HUD Support in
the application by following the instructions
on the screen.
! The internet connection is required to pur-
chase the NavGate HUD Support.
Notes
! For iPhone users
If the application does not start automatically
when the iPhone is connected to the unit,
tap
“Allow” in the popup that appears on the
iPhone.
! For Android device users
If the application does not start automatically
when the Android device is connected to the
unit, tap the application in the popup that ap-
pears on the Android device.
If you select the check box and then select
the application in the popup, the popup will
not appear from the next time.
