This Philips appliance complies with all standards regarding

electromagnetic fields (EMF). If handled properly and according to the

instructions in this user manual, the appliance is safe to use based on

scientific evidence available today.

preparing for use

Clean all detachable parts before you use the appliance for the first

time (see chapter ‘Cleaning’).

Make sure the appliance is assembled properly (see chapter

‘General description’) before you put the plug in the wall socket.

Remove the dust cover from the appliance (Fig. 3).

Wind excess cord round the base of the appliance.

Put the plug in the wall socket.

pulp selector

- Set the pulp selector to 1 for juice with a lot of pulp, but without

pips. (Fig. 4)

- Set the pulp selector to m for juice without pulp and pips. (Fig. 5)

using the appliance

Press a halved fruit firmly onto the cone to switch on the

appliance (Fig. 6).
