Disc Cleaning
Use a dry soft cloth to wipe the surface.
If the disc is quite dirty, use a soft cloth
slightly moistured with isopropyl (rubbing)
alcohol. N e v e r use solvents such as
benzine, thinner or conventional record
cleaners as they may mar the surface of
the disc.

A disc may become somewhat scratched
(although not enough to make it
unusable) depending on your handl

and conditions in the usage environment.

Reparing New Discs with Rough Spots
A new disc may have rough edges on its
inside a n d o u t s i d e e d g e s . If a disc with
rough edges is used, the proper setting
will not be performed and the player will
not play the disc. Therefore, remove the
r o u g h e d g e s i n a d v a n c e b y u s i n g a b a l l
point pen or pencil as shown on the right.
To r e m o v e t h e r o u g h e d g e s , p r e s s t h e
s i d e o f t h e p e n o r p e n c i l a g a i n s t t h e
inside and outside edges of the disc.
