CONTENTS OF KIT:
(1) When mounting rear traction bar ,exhaust
may need to be redone for clearance.
(2) Traction bar needs to be mounted as close
to the center of differential as possible.
(3) Shackle at forward end of traction bar must
be at 90 degrees to centerline of traction bar.
(4) This traction bar is universal and will re-
quire fabricating !

90 Degrees
The TB500 Traction bar is designed to fit the 76-86 CJ-7 and 87-95 YJ. This
will require a fair amount of custom fab work to hang the shackle hanger.
You may also need to enlarge the radius on the axle mounting brackets to ac-
commodate larger tube diameters. If you mount to your existing skid plate we
recommend that you Beef up the mounting area. It is important to get the
shackle mounted as close to the 90 degree angle as shown below. Pictures on
2nd page give you an idea of how it should be mounted.
