Warning

All personnel shall carefully read, understand and follow all safety rules and operational instructions

before operating or performing maintenance on any XT24SD.

Safety Rules

USE OF THE AERIAL WORK PLATFORM: This aerial work platform is intended to lift persons and tools as well as the
material used for the job. It is designed for repair, assembly jobs and assignments at overhead workplaces
(ceilings, cranes, roof structures, buildings etc). All other uses of the aerial work platform are prohibited!
THIS AERIAL WORK PLATFORM IS NOT INSULATED!
For this reason it is crucial to keep a safe distance from live
electrical equipment.
DISTRIBUTE all platform loads evenly across the platform.
NEVER operate the machine without first surveying the work area for hazards.
OPERATE the machine only on surface capable of supporting the machine weight.
NEVER operate the machine when the wind speeds are in excise of the machine wind speed rating. See “Beaufort
Scale” on page 5 for details.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY press emergency stop switch which will deactivate all powered functions.
IF ALARM SOUNDS the machine is tilted, platform is overloaded or the machine is lowering.
NEVER perform service on machine while elevated unless safety prop is in place.
INSPECT the machine thoroughly for cracked welds, loose or missing hardware, hydraulic leaks, loose or frayed
wiring, and damaged cables or hoses before using.
VERIFY that all stickers and indicators are in place and legible before using.
NEVER use a machine that is damaged, not functioning properly, or has damaged or missing indicators.
Bypassing any safety equipment is strictly prohibited and presents a danger for the persons on or in the area of
the aerial work platform.
Never drive aerial work platform with extension deck rolled out, it will cause machine to tip over backwards.
NEVER charge the batteries near sparks or open flame. Charging batteries emit explosive hydrogen gas.
Modifications to the aerial work platform are prohibited, permissible only at approval by Snorkel

AFTER USE, secure the work platform from unauthorized use by turning the key switch off and removing key.

NEVER position the platform

without first checking for
overhead obstructions or

other hazards.

NEVER climb, stand or sit on
