1 Combilong/Combitube
1.1 Features
The Eppendorf Combilong/Combitube aspirating aid allows for aspirating liquids from
bottles whose diameter does not exceed 50 mm. The aspirating aid can be used in
combination with all Eppendorf dispensers.
1.2 Materials
1.3 Preparing the aspirating aid
1. Shorten the tube to the desired length.
2. Insert the aspirating aid into the bottle.
1.4 Filling the reservoir
Prerequisites
Combitip advanced 50 mL.
1. Insert the Combitip into a dispenser.
2. Insert the tip of the Combitip firmly into the opening of the reservoir.
3. Aspirate the liquid up to the min mark.
• The reservoir is filling.
4. Draw the Combitip a little bit out of the opening and put the liquid back into the
reservoir or the source vessel.
1.5 Removing liquid
1.5.1 Combitip advanced 2,5 mL and 50 mL
1. Insert the tip of the Combitip into the opening of the aspirating aid.
2. Aspirate the liquid.
NOTICE! Aggressive substances may damage dispensers, Combitips and
accessories.

Check the resistance to chemicals when using organic solvents or aggressive
chemicals.

Observe the cleaning instructions.
