1. Insert the probe firmly into the sock et (A) .

accor ding to your recipe. The indic ator light comes on. The desired
temper ature should line up with the indic ator light. When the sel ected
temper ature is reached, the light goes off . d uring cooking the light will
blink on and off, indicating the temper ature is maint ained.

Caution: Be car eful when remo ving the probe as
the skill et might stay warm for a whil e.
6. Use plastic, rubber or wood utensils when
cooking and serving. If using metal utensils, be
car eful not to scrape the nons tick finish.

To use, pull the leg str aight do wn so that it stands
under the cool-t ouch handl e (C) .
Caution: to avoid burns:
• If using for cooking, always tilt the skillet befor e you start cooking.
• Tilt lid away while lifting.
• If using for serving, al ways use a pot holder or oven mitt.

Care and Cleaning
This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified
service personnel.
tO CleAN:
1. Unplug the cord and let unit cool completely.
2. Make sure the variable temperature control is removed.
3. Wash the pan and lid with warm sudsy water. The lid can also be washed
in the dishwasher, top rack only.
4. If washing by hand, use a sponge or nylon scouring pad with liquid
detergent. do not use any abrasive cleaners or metal pads as they can
damage the nonstick coating.
5. Rinse and dry.
6. Wipe the outside of the base with a damp cloth. do not immerse in water
or other liquid.
7. Store the unit in a dry place and wind electric cord into a coil securing
it with a twist fastener.
