TROUBLESHOOTING
No sound from headset ear phone while
audio plays from computer.
Check all headset wire connections.
Check the volume control on inline module.
Windows Vista & Windows 7:
Right click on the tool tray speaker icon and
select playback devices.
Right click on the Andrea USB device and
enable it as the default playback audio device.
Check the tool tray speaker icon for proper
volume level adjustment and make sure the
speakers icon is not muted.
Double click on the Playback panel display of
AudioCommander to see what devices are
selected for audio playback
Mac:
Open the System Preferences panel.
Click on the Sounds icon.
Click on the Output button.
Connecting the SuperBeam USB headset
to your computer.
1. Plug the two 3.5mm stereo plugs
(Microphone/red and Speaker/green) from the
headset cable into the corresponding USB audio
adapter jacks. Note: make sure to match the
corresponding Microphone and Speaker icons
on the plug jackets to the markings on the USB
adapter.
2. Plug the USB connector into USB slot on
your computer.
3. Check the headset Vol/Mute control has Mic
Mute off and Volume Control is turned to max
position.

Make sure the Mute checkbox is not checked.
No sound is transmitted from the headset
microphone during communications or
recording on the computer.
Check all headset wire connections.
Check the microphone mute control is OFF on
inline module.
Windows:
Right click on the tool tray speaker icon and
select recording devices.
Double click on the Andrea USB device and
enable it as the preferred recording audio
device.
Check the AudioCommander recording volume
control for proper level adjustment.
Double click on the Record panel display of
AudioCommander to see what devices are
selected for audio input
Mac:
Open the System Preferences panel.
Click on the Sounds icon.
Click on the Andrea USB device to select it as
the default input audio device.
Adjust the volume slider for proper volume
level.
