The Andrea Active Noise Cancellation PC
Microphone ANC-300 features,
state-of-the-art, Active Noise Cancellation
(ANC) microphone technology that
electronically removes background noise and
echo speaker feedback for optimal voice
recognition. Users receive:
• Active Noise Cancellation microphone
technology in a comfortable, ergonomic
Desktop/Hand Held design
• Desktop/Mute/Hand Held microphone switch
that conveniently allows for conversations
that do not disrupt computer telephony and
speech-driven PC applications during
operation and allow the user to use the ANC
300 in either Desktop or Hand Held modes
To connect the Andrea Active Noise
Cancellation PC Microphone ANC-300 to your
computer's sound card:
1. Plug the pink microphone jack (indicated by
a microphone icon) into the "mic in" port as
shown in this publication.
COMPATIBILITY
The ANC-300 is compatible with most major
sound cards, computers and laptops.
MICROPHONE INSTRUCTIONS
1.The ANC-300 can be used as either a
Desktop Microphone or a Hand Held
Microphone.
2. To use the ANC-300 in the Desktop mode,
place the ANC-300 in its base as shown, and
set the selector switch to the Desktop mode.
3. To use the ANC-300 in the Hand Held mode,
remove the ANC-300 from its base, and set
the selector switch to the Hand Held mode.
Hold the ANC-300 so that the microphone is
approximately 3/4" in front of your mouth as
shown in this publication.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If you encounter the following problems:
Microphone does not record sound when
using a voice-recording application.
A. Check all connections.
B. Bring the microphone closer to your mouth.
C. Check input control for proper level in
software.
D. Check that microphone is not muted in the
PCs microphone audio panel.
