9319C TYPE K THERMOCOUPLE PROVER

Specifications:

Accuracy:

± 0.14°C

Three Output Test Points:

0°C, 25°C and 60°C

CR2032 3 Volt Lithium

Handling:

When handling the prover, it is best to keep fingers away from

certain areas:

Operating Instructions:

NOTE:

The prover must be allowed 30 minutes to acclimate

prior to use.

1. Set the ON / OFF slide switch to ON position.
2.

The battery indicator light will blink once to indicate the battery life:

Green LED:

The battery is good

Red LED:

Replace the battery (

3.

Allow the prover to warm-up for a period of 10 seconds.

4.

Disconnect the probe from thermocouple instrument and connect the

9319C Prover.
5. Set the output slide switch to the temperature to be validated.
The instrument should read the selected temperature.
6.

Consult the thermocouple instrument instruction sheet if

recalibration is required.
7. Set the ON / OFF slide switch to OFF position

Battery Replacement Procedure:

1. Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the two housing screws.
2.

Lift the circuit board from the housing.

3.

Before removing the spent battery, take note of the battery orientation

in the holder. It is very important that the new battery be placed in the
proper ± orientation.
4.

Remove the spent battery and dispose of responsibly.

5. Place the new battery into the battery holder.
6. Replace the circuit board, cover, and screws.

NOTE: The 9319C does not have automatic shut-off, so be sure to turn

off the prover after each use to preserve battery life.
