One or both T-Bars can be removed for
single edge referencing or flat work
To mar k with a 0.5mm
Mechanical P encil: Just hold the
pencil ver tically and twist the
pencil in a hold to mark a dot.
To mar k with a W ooden Pencil:
First, sharpen the pencil, then
twist the lead once or twice in any
one of the holes to give it an ultra
fine point ready for mar king.
To mar k with a Metal Scribe or
Center Punch: Any scribe or
center punch sharp enough to fit
through the holes can be used.
Use finger pr essure ONL Y to mark
a precisely located “ dimple” in soft
materials such as wood, paper,
plastic, brass or aluminum.
DO NOT damage your pr ecision
rule b y pounding the point
through the hole with a hammer .
For mar king: Place the X-Y M arker
on your wor kpiece against two edges of
any square corner , then make your mar k
by twisting a .5mm pencil or sharp
metal scribe in any one of the holes.
Adjusting the T-B ar:
Your X-Y M arker comes fully
assembled. If y ou ever loosen
the thumbscrews, be sur e to
place the end of the Mar ker
firmly against the indexing lip
on the T-B ar before r etightening
to insure per fect accuracy.
