Lightforce REMOTE CONTROL UNIT: HANDLES/MOUNTS/LIGHTS - Manual

IMPORTANT
A standard on / off switch can NOT be used with this transmitter a MOMENTARY SWITCH IS
REQUIRED
Receiver: Locate a suitable position for the receiver ensuring it is away from direct heat and moisture (high up on the fire wall is
preferable, ensuring the antenna is fully extended.
Operating range is within 5 metres (dependent on obstructions).
The receiver is prewired to the harness all that is required is to connect the Brown wire on the wiring harness to the vehicles
high beam switching wire (as per instruction included with the harness).
Transmitter: Connect the Red and Black wires from the small transmitter to a momentary switch when using a two pole switch
any wire can be connected to any terminal.
Note: The supplied Lightforce switch can be used to operate two independent circuits not exceeding 16 amps.
Switch wiring information:
(1) Connect to the vehicles 12v positive (+) lighting circuit to illuminate switch when vehicles lights are activated (this is
independent of the switch function and not mandatory for the operation of the transmitter).
Generally the cigarette lighter socket is illuminated use this to splice into.
(2) Connect to Earth (-) required only if connection 1 is used.
(3) Not used (no terminal on switch body).
(4) Switch position 1 (switch is activated when the bottom section is depressed, Fit Red wire from transmitter.
(5) Fit Black wire from transmitter (if two transmitters are used join both Black wires together.
(6) Switch position 2 (switch is activated when the top section is depressed, Fit Red wire from transmitter.
Test switch function before affixing the transmitter
using the attached double sided tape to a suitable
position under the dash x2 CR2016 3V replacement
batteries are provided.
