Bottle & Filter Instructions

Instructions for Initial Use

1. Unscrew the cap from the bottle.

2. Remove the filter from the cap and set aside.

3. Wash the cap and bottle. The wriggle cap and bottle can be washed by hand or in

the top rack of a dishwasher.

4. Reconnect the filter by pushing and rotating it into the cap. Make sure that the rounded

filter end is toward the cap nozzle. You may hear a soft snap sound as the filter

connects to the cap.

5. Make sure that the filter is properly connected to the cap. When properly connected, the

filter does not fall out of the cap when the cap is lifted.

6. Fill the bottle with water.

7. Thread the cap (with filter) onto the bottle and rotate the cap clockwise to tighten.

Do not over tighten the cap.

8. If the nozzle is not in the down position, push the nozzle down toward the cap. Squeeze

the bottle to test for a proper seal between the cap and the bottle. If you detect air

or water leaking from between the cap and bottle, unscrew the cap and repeat steps

7 and 8 until no air or water leaks upon squeezing.

9. Pull the nozzle up. Over a sink or other appropriate drainage area, hold the bottle

nozzle-side-down and squeeze to release water.

10. Continue to release water until the wriggle is empty. This process rinses out any harmless

residual carbon particles from the filter and makes it ready for use. These residual

carbon particles may initially color the water black. This step is only required the first

time the filter is used.

11. Push the nozzle down, remove the cap, and refill the bottle with water. Tighten the cap

onto the bottle, ensuring that there are no leaks between the cap and bottle.

12. The wriggle is now ready for use! Enjoy cleaner, more healthful water with every

squeeze and sip!
