2010+ CAMARO V8 HEADER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Thanks for purchasing Stainless Works Muscleflow Headers for your 2010+ CamaroV8.
We have gone to great pains to make sure that our exhaust systems fit and sound great.
Please follow these steps to ensure that your installation goes as planned.
Disassembly
1. Disconnect battery.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove (4) 15 mm bolts holding cross brace.
4. Disconnect and remove rear O2 sensors.
5. Disconnect and remove front O2 sensors.
6. Remove 11 mm bolt from steering shaft and mark shaft and rack for realignment when
reassembled and disconnect from steering rack.
7. Remove engine cover.
8. Unbolt 15 mm bolt holding dipstick and remove dip stick tube.
9. Remove all plug wires from spark plugs and the plugs themselves.
10. Remove (12) 13 mm bolts (6 per side) on exhaust manifolds and remove manifolds.
Header Installation
1. Install (2) front O2 extensions for the headers prior to installing the headers (do not
install the sensors in the headers yet, just extend the wiring using the extensions
provided).
2. Seal and install headers using (12) 8mm bolts (6 per side) supplied. Use high
temperature silicon (RTV sealant) on header flanges and faces of heads.
