2010+ CAMARO V6 HEADER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Thanks for purchasing Stainless Works Muscleflow Headers for your 2010+ CamaroV6.
We have gone to great pains to make sure that our exhaust systems fit and sound great.
Please follow these steps to ensure that your installation goes as planned.
Disassembly
1. Disconnect battery.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Loosen clamps at factory connection point and slide off. These will later be used for
installation.
4. Remove plastic engine cover and spark plug wires.
5. Remove (6) 10 mm bolts, (3 in each manifold) that are holding heat shields to manifold.
Remove heat shields.
6. Remove 10 mm bolt holding dipstick in and remove dipstick.
7. Unplug O2 sensors.
8. Remove (4) 15 mm nuts from cat to manifold flanges.
9. Remove (14) 13 mm bolts (7 from each manifold). Remove manifolds and gaskets.
Header Installation
1. Apply high temperature RTV Sealant to header s and install using (14) 13 mm bolts
removed from the manifolds.
2. Install (2) O2 front extensions and O2 sensors in headers.
3. Install catalytic converters or offroad pipes using (2) 2.5” clamps.
4. Install header lead pipes using (2) 2.5” clamps. (Both lead pipes are the same).
