09-12 CHALLENGER V6 HEADER
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Thanks for purchasing Stainless Works Muscleflow Headers for your Challenger V6.
We have gone to great pains to make sure that our exhaust systems fit and sound great.
Please follow these steps to ensure that your installation goes as planned.
Disassembly
1. Disconnect battery.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Loosen and remove factory exhaust at factory connection point behind the
transmission.
4. Remove service engine cover, four 10 mm bolts.
5. Remove two 15 mm bolts on head pipe cross brace.
6. Unplug and remove O2 sensors in head pipes.
7. Remove two 15 mm nuts on left head pipe heat shield.
8. Remove four 15 mm nuts holding head pipes on.
9. Remove air cleaner assembly - one 10mm bolt and two hose clamps.
10. Remove four 10 mm nuts (two per side), six 10 mm bolts (two per side) holding
heat shields on manifolds. Then remove heat shields.
11. Unplug and remove O2 sensors.
12. Remove two 13mm bolts and four 10mm bolts per manifold and remove
manifolds.
