Safety Information

Please read this manual carefully. If you have any questions please contact H2O Audio
Customer Service prior to use.

Improper use of this system may cause the user to make mistakes or decisions that may lead
to serious injury or death.

Always make sure to have the audio player volume turned to zero and the headphones
turned away from the ears when turning on the audio player. If the volume level is not
zero when the audio player is turned on, it may cause ear injury due to a sudden burst of
volume. The volume should be slowly increased with an audio track playing to set the
speaker volume to comfortable output levels prior to positioning the headphones next to
the ears. Hearing experts advise against continuously loud and extended play. If you
experience ringing in your ears, reduce volume or discontinue use.

It can be potentially dangerous to use headphones while engaging in activities that require
your full attention. You should exercise extreme caution or discontinue use in potentially
hazardous situations. Do not use headphones while driving, cycling, or operating any
motorized vehicle. It may create a traffic hazard and is illegal in some areas. Those users
that elect to utilize this system at, or near, the water’s surface, must maintain safety
awareness of moving water crafts.

WARNING: Contains small parts which may be a choking hazard. Not suitable for children
under 3 years old.

FAQs

1. What MP3 players and phones are compatible with this case?

The Amphibx Go, case was designed specifically for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch
devices. However many smart phones and portable media players will fit into this case
because of the generous size of the opening and the flexible materials used. If your device
does not fit, please let us know so we can consider it for future products.

2. What happens if the waterproof headphones become disconnected from the case?

As long as the case is not submerged underwater for long periods of time, it should be
fine. The longer the case is submerged underwater, the higher the possibility water can
enter the case through the stereo jack. If headphones detach from the case, we suggest
getting that connection back together as soon as possible.

4. What headphones are compatible with H2O Audio Waterproof Cases?

H2O Audio Waterproof cases are designed to work with H2O Audio Waterproof
Headphones and standard 3.5mm headphones.

The case should not be submerged underwater for long periods of time without H2O Audio
Waterproof Headphones plugged in as water may be able to enter the case through the
stereo jack.

5. Can H2O Audio Waterproof Cases be taken into a hot tub or sauna?

Sometimes. Since we do not control the laws of physics, so you should continuously check
to see if condensation is forming inside the case. This amount will vary from location to
location based upon the humidity in the air when the case was originally closed.
If any condensation becomes visible within the armband, STOP use immediately.

Maintaining Your Amphibx Go Waterproof Case

Waterproof Case

Your Amphibx Go was specifically engineered to be durable enough to handle damaging
environments such the pool, ocean, rain, and mud, yet made to be light enough for
everyday uses such as running, swimming, biking, hiking, and just relaxing at the beach.
With that said, it is not indestructible, so you need to use reasonable care when using the
Amphibx Go.

With so many environments, and so many uses, the one common message is that you
should always check the Amphibx Go before use to make sure it was not damaged during
your last activity.

Do not expose the armband to extreme heat, such as the inside of a hot car, or in hot direct
sunlight, such as on a beach, or boat deck. Doing so may cause damage and subsequent
flooding.

After in-water use, you should rinse off your case with clean water and let it air dry for
your next use. Strong detergents, soaps, and chemicals must never be used to clean the
armband. For long-term storage, store out of direct sunlight.

Waterproof Seal

To clean the seal, remove it from the case and wash with warm fresh water. Strong
detergents, soaps, and chemicals should never be used to clean the seal. Allow seal to air
dry and install back into the armband once dry. The life of a waterproof seal is typically
one year. Please contact H2O Audio Customer Support for replacement seals.

The silicone seal does not require lubrication.
Do not use silicone grease to lubricate the seal.

Controlling Your iPhone, iPod touch, or other devices

The ClearTouch Pouch has been engineered to allow you to maintain complete control over
touch controls and push buttons featured on your device.

The ClearTouch Pouch was designed to be clear on both side so when oriented properly, it
allows you to use the camera on most devices including all iPhone models, the iPod touch
(4th Gen.) and many other devices.

Checking the Waterproof Welds

In addition to the waterproof seal in
the lid, the H2O Audio Amphibx Go
Waterproof Case features welded outer
seams that have been specifically
designed to prevent water from
entering the case.

Each H2O Audio case is inspected and
tested in a pressure chamber to ensure
it is 100% waterproof prior to
packaging.

Even with this level of care, you still
need to ensure the welds have not
been damaged by your activities.

Take a moment to look at the
waterproof welds upon arrival. You
should perform a visual inspection of
the welds each time you install your
device in the case.

The SealTight Connector Boot featured on the H2O Audio Amphibx Fit Waterproof
Armband is designed to create a 100% waterproof connection with H2O Audio Waterproof
Headphones (sold separately). If a SealTight Connector Boot is NOT installed the connection
is NOT Waterproof.

Connecting Your Headphones

The armband should not be submerged under
water for long periods of time without H2O
Audio Waterproof Headphones plugged in as
water could enter the armband through the
headphone jack.

H2O Audio waterproof headphones come with a
strain relief in 2 different sizes. We have included
2 SealTight Connector Boots for you to use based
upon which H2O Audio Waterproof Headphones
you have. Please see the images shown to see
which boot goes with which headphone plug.

Checking the Waterproof Seal

The H2O Audio Amphibx Go Waterproof Case features a removable, blue, seal that forms a
waterproof barrier between the base and lid of the armband.

It is extremely important that special attention is paid to ensure the seal is completely
seated in the groove of the lid. If the seal is loose, out of alignment, twisted or pinched in
any way, it will compromise the waterproof integrity of the armband and should not be
used. Any debris such as hair, sand, surf wax or mud will prevent it from forming a
watertight barrier and should be cleaned off before use.

It is extremely important that you ensure the seal is clean and properly seated each time
you close the lid. Failure to do so may ruin your device in the armband.

If the seal comes out of alignment, carefully place it back into the groove, ensuring all 4
corners are correctly installed. Close the lid into the base and then re-open it to make sure
the seal is fitted correctly into the groove. The seal should appear straight and uniform
along all edges and should not fall out easily.

If you have any concerns please contact H2O Audio Customer Support.

Waterproof Seal

5. Arrange any excess cord so that it will not interfere
when closing the lid.

1. Pull the latch hook away from the lid.

3. Take the 3.5mm stereo plug cable from
inside the armband and plug into your device.

4. Slide device inside and align device in the
ClearTouch Pouch. Note: To use your device’s camera
in the Amphibx Go, orient the device in the armband
to ensure the camera lens is visible through the
ClearTouch Pouch.

7. Once the lid is closed, double check that the lid is
fully seated, and that the latch has snapped into
place. Failure to do so could cause the lid to open
during use.

8. Always check your armband for obvious signs of wear
and check with Customer Service if you have any questions
about the condition of your armband. If you take care of
your Amphibx Go, it will take care of you!

2. Holding latch hook open, lift on the tab of the lid.

6. Before closing the lid, ensure the seal is clean, seated
properly and that there is nothing in the way that
would prevent the lid from fully closing (for example
the 3.5mm stereo plug cable). Close lid.
