Providing the same advanced, multiplatform capabilities as APM 2.5, the 2.6 revision

of the award-winning APM autopilot is designed for an external magnetometer. This

improves flight performance by allowing the compass module (or combined GPS with

compass) to be placed further away from sources of potential magnetic interference.
