FORD FOCUS ST
SHORT THROW SHIFTER
1 Remove plastic vacuum hose from rubber
adaptor on the top of valve cover (leave
rubber adaptor in place). 1 Remove the right cover panel completely. 2 Open the left cover panel and pull it to the
side. 3 Remove the shift knob. 4 Pull the shifter cover up to release rear
latches.
5 Using a large flat screw driver gently pry
on the shifter cover to release the three
front latches. Remove the shifter cover. 6 Remove the trim panel screws. 7 Remove the trim panel by pulling it up and
to the rear of the car. 8 Remove the change holder panel by
pulling it up and to the rear of the car.
9 Remove the parking brake cover. Pull
front of the cover up first to release the
cover latches.

Disconnect the power and the USB
connectors.

Remove the center console front bolts.

Remove the center console rear bolts.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
White lithium grease
TOOLS REQUIRED
M8 socket wrench
Phillips screw driver
M10 socket wrench
7/32 socket wrench
Large flat screw driver
Pliers
Flat file
Small hammer
