Kessler Crane: Vertical Brake Installation - Manual

STEP 1
Place the bolt with the lock washer on the inside of the
tripod mounting bracket.
STEP 2
Tighten with silver spacer-nut. Then place a silver
washer onto the spacer-nut then the nylon washer.
STEP 3
Place the 3/8” bolt through the braking mechanism on
the opposite end with a nylon washer on either side.
STEP 4
Place a 3rd nylon washer over the end of the bolt.
Secure with a nut and tighten. The bolt should still turn
by hand with medium resistance.
STEP 5
Place the other end of the braking mechanism over the
bolt with the silver spacer-nut. Secure loosely with the
threaded knob. When loosened there is free range of
motion. To stabilize, tighten the threaded knob.
