An oven light is not working

The bulb has probably burnt out. You can buy a

replacement bulb (which is not covered under the

warranty) from a good electrical shop. Ask for a 15 W

125–130 V lamp, FOR OVENS. It must be a special bulb,

heat resistant to 300 °C (570 °F) (Fig.5-1).
Turn off the power at the circuit breaker.
Make sure the oven is cool. Open the oven door and

remove the oven racks.
Unscrew the bulb cover by turning counter-clockwise. It

may be very stiff (Fig.5-2).
Taking care to protect your fingers in case the bulb

should shatter, unscrew the old bulb.
Screw in the new bulb; screw back the bulb cover. Turn

on the circuit breaker and check that the bulb now

lights.
