1. The ideal environment for flying is indoors with no, or minimal, air conditioning.
2. Recommended flying area: 3m x 5m x 2.5m.
3. Avoid overhead fans, lights, and other obstructions.
4. Do not fly the helicopter in direct sunlight or strong lighting as it may affect the remote control system.

1. Keep small items out of children’s reach to prevent risk of choking.
2. Do not expose batteries to heat.
3. Do not go to within 1-2 metres of the helicopter when in flight.
4. Do not attempt to modify the helicopter.
5. The helicopter should be within sight of the controller when flying.
6. Parental guidance is advised while operating the helicopter.
Installing the batteries
1. Unscrew the battery compartment on the remote control (pic. 1).
2. Insert 6 x AA batteries.
3. Close the battery compartment and screw shut (pic. 3).
Charging the helicopter
1. Open the remote control’s charge cover and remove the wire. Turn on the power switch (pic. 4).
2. Turn off the helicopter’s power switch (on the underside of the helicopter). Insert the charging wire into the charging
socket on the helicopter (pic. 5).
3. The green LED light will illuminate during charging (pic. 6). When fully charged, the light will turn off. After charging,
remove the wire.
4. The helicopter will be able to fly for approximately 5-8 minutes after charging for 20-30 minutes.
Caution: Allow 10-15 minutes after the last flight before recharging (to allow the batteries time to cool down).

Flying Environment
Preparation
1. Set the frequency on the remote control (A, B, C) to correspond with the frequency of the helicopter.
2. Ensure the remote control is switched off before turning on the helicopter.
3. Turn helicopter on.
4. Place the helicopter on a flat surface facing the remote control.
5. Ensure the gear lever points downwards, and then switch on the remote control.

Extra Tips for Controlling the Helicopter
1. If the helicopter spins clockwise or to the right when the direction stick is not being used, turn the ‘micro-adjust’
dial towards the left until the helicopter flies straight again.
2. If the helicopter spins anticlockwise or to the left when the direction stick is not being used, turn the
‘micro-adjust’ dial to the right until the helicopter flies straight again.
3. When using the high/low speed switch remember that the helicopter is easier to control at low speeds.
4. The light switch on the controller turns on/off the helicopter light.
Attention
1. Low battery power will reduce the range in which the remote control is able to operate.
2. Low battery power will affect the helicopter’s ability to fly.
3. The remote control range is approximately ten metres.
4. If the helicopter receives impact damage, repair before trying to fly again.
Maintenance
1. To clean the helicopter, wipe with a clean, damp cloth.
2. Do not expose to sunlight or bright lighting.
3. Do not submerge the helicopter in water.
4. Turn off the remote control and the helicopter when not in use.
5. Remove batteries if the helicopter is not in operation for long periods.
6. For maximum performance, new batteries are recommended.
7. Check the helicopter regularly for impact and other damage.
