You can protect important images and movies from accidental erasure.
Rewind
Holding down the FUNC./SET button rewinds. The
sound cannot be heard while rewinding.
Fast
Forward
Holding down the FUNC./SET button fast forwards. The
sound cannot be heard while fast forwarding.
Erase
Select [Erase] or [Erase all] in the confirmation screen
and press the FUNC./SET button.
Protect
Protects against accidental erasure. Use the or
button to select a sound and the FUNC./SET button to
select/deselect protection.
Volume You can use the or button to adjust the volume.

Protecting Images
Select
You can configure the protection settings for each
image singly while viewing them.
Select Range
You can select a first and last image and protect all
the images in the range.
Select by Date You can protect the images from a specified date.
Select by Category You can protect the images in a specified category.
Select by Folder You can protect the images in a specified folder.
All Images You can protect all the images on a memory card.
