Follow these guidelines to avoid damage to your printer and
harm to you or others:
z Set the printer on a stable surface. Do not use an angled
printer stand. Avoid setting the printer in direct sunlight.
z Keep the front cover closed when printing.
z Do not set anything on top of the printer.
z Always use a three-wire, grounded power receptacle
(electrical wall outlet with three holes) for your printer’s
power cord. Do not modify the cord or remove the
ground pin.
z Make sure the power is off any time you connect or
disconnect the power cord or interface cable.
z When unplugging the power cord, always remove it by
holding the plug and not the cord.
