Open the compartment cover

Press in on the tabs on both sides of the compartment
cover.

Remove the print head unit.
z
Reinstall the print head unit in the compartment.

Close the compartment cover.

Replace the ink tanks in the correct order.
z
Press the POWER button to turn on the printer
Do not unplug the printer during the initialization. If you do, the printer
will not be initialized correctly and may not print properly. Wait until
the POWER light stops flashing and the printer goes on-line before
performing any other print operations.
