OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Installing the battery: Remove the cover on the battery compartment located on the
right side of the alarm. Extend the wires and snap a 9-volt battery onto the connector.
Place the battery back in the compartment. Replace the cover.
Positioning the sensor: The sensor is located on the bottom of the alarm. The alarm
can be placed directly on the floor with the sensor compartment closed, or the sensor
compartment can be opened and the sensor wires extended to reach a sump pit or
another remote location. The alarm can be hung on a nail or screw in the wall with the
sensor extended, and the sensor can be secured in place through the holes in the
sensor panel. Six feet of wire are attached to the sensor, but up to 100 ft. can be
spliced into the line.
Replacing the battery: Replace the battery if the alarm has operated for an extended
period of time, or if the battery expiration date is approaching. You may want to mark
the battery expiration date on a piece of tape and attach it to the alarm when you install
the battery.
Limited Warranty
GLENTRONICS, INC. warrants this product against defects in material or workmanship
for a period of 5 years from the date of the first retail purchase. GLENTRONICS shall at
its sole and absolute option, either repair or replace at no charge the defective unit with
the same model or and equivalent model.
To obtain warranty service, you must take or deliver the product prepaid to
GLENTRONICS, INC. with proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale, receipted
invoice which is evidence that the unit is within the warranty period.
This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or claims for damage due to abuse,
improper maintenance, connection to an improper voltage supply, misuses, or acts of
God.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY, IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
OF THE COMSUMER. GLENTRONICS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS
PRODUCT, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW. ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS
PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACION
Instalación de la Bateria: Quite la cubierta del compartimento de la bateria situada al
lado derecho de la alarma y extienda los cables y el conector que está en la parte
interior. Coloque una bateria de 9 voltios en el conector y coloque la bateria en el
compartimiento cerrando nuevamente la cubierta.
Colocación del Sensor: El sensor se encuentra en la parte inferior de la alarma. La
alarma puede ser conectada directamente en el suelo con el compartimiento del sensor
cerrado o puede éste estar abierto y los cables del sensor pueden extenderse hasta
alcanzar el agujero de un sumidero o otro lugar remoto.
Para Reemplazar la Bateria: Reemplace la bateria si la alarma ha estado funcionando
por un largo periodo de tiempo o si la fecha de expiración de la bateria está cercana.
Usted deberá marcar la fecha de expiración de la bateria en un trozo de cinta adhesiva
en la alarma, al instalar la bateria.
Garantía Limitada
GLENTRONICS, INC. garantiza éste producto por cualquier defecto en los materiales o
en la fabricación por un periodo de cinco años a partir de la primera fecha de compra.
GLENTRONICS tendrá absoluta discreción ya sea para reparar o remplazar, sin costo
alguno, la unidad defectuosa con el mismo modelo o un modelo equivalente.
Para obtener el servicio de garantia, usted deberá tomar o entregar el producto pagado
por adelantado a GLENTRONICS, INC. junto con el recibo de prueba de compra como
evidencia de que la unidad está dentro de periodo de la garantia.
Esta garantia no cubre daños en su apariencia ni reclamos originados por el uso
abusivo, por mantenimiento inadecuado, por una conexión inadecuada al suministro de
voltaje, por uso indebido o por desastres naturales.
LA REPARACION O REEMPLAZO, SEGUN SE ESTIPULA EN LAS DISPOSICIONES DE ESTA
GARANTIA, SERA LO UNICO QUE RECIBIRA EL CONSUMIDOR. GLENTRONICS NO SERA
RESPONSABLE POR NINGUN DAÑO INCIDENTAL O CONSECUENTE CAUSADO POR EL
INCUMPLIMIENTO DE CUALQUIR GARANTIA EXPRESA O IMPLICITA DE ESTE PRODOUCTO,
DENTRO DE LAS PROHIBICIONES ESTIPULADAS POR LAS LEYES APLICABLES. CULAQUIER
GARANTIA IMPLICITA DE COMERCIALIZACION O DE IDONEIDAD PARA UN PROPOSITO
