Enter a speed dial number to be added or deleted.

NOTE:

When you delete the last speed dial in a group, the group itself is deleted.

Press Select (

).

Sending a Fax Using Group Dialing (Multi-address Transmission)

You can use group dialing for Broadcasting or Delayed transmissions.

Follow the procedure of the desired operation (Broadcasting transmission; see "Sending Broadcasting Faxes"
, Delayed transmission; see "Sending a Delayed Fax" ). When you come to a step in which the display asks
you to enter the remote fax number:

For a one-digit group number, press and hold the appropriate digit button.

For a two-digit group number, press the first digit button and hold the last digit button.

For a three-digit speed dial number, press the first and second digit buttons and hold the last digit
button.

You can use only one group number for one operation. Then continue the procedure to complete the desired
operation.

Your printer automatically scans the document loaded in the DADF or on the document glass into the
memory. The printer dials each of the numbers included in the group.

Searching for a Number in the Memory

There are two ways to search for a number in the memory. You can either scan from A to Z sequentially, or
you can search using the first letter of the name associated with the number.

Searching Sequentially through the Memory

Load the document(s) face up with top edge in first into the DADF.
