You can set the AF mode.

Switching between Focus Settings

Available Shooting Modes

Continuous

The camera is continually focusing on whatever it is aimed at

even when the shutter button is not pressed, allowing you to

shoot without missing opportunities.

Single

The camera only focuses when the shutter button is pressed

halfway, conserving battery power.

Select [AF Mode].

1. Press the MENU button.
2. In the

menu, use the

button to select [AF Mode].

Make settings.

1. Use the

button to select AF

mode.

2. Press the MENU button.

This will be set when the AF frame mode is set to [Face Detect],
[FlexiZone] or [Center]. This will be fixed to [Single] when the
AF frame mode is set to [AiAF]
